Chapter 6 – Adding, Editing and Deleting Users

The AppWorks Gateway uses OpenText Directory Services to manage and authenticate users. When installing the AppWorks Gateway, you chose to connect to an existing OTDS installation or install the built-in OTDS. With either option, you can now add or edit your users within the AppWorks Gateway. All of these changes will sync to your OTDS installation. If you would like to synchronize users from an existing LDAP or Active Directory partition, you must do this in OTDS. For more information on OpenText Directory Services, see OpenText Directory Services with the OTDS Web Client - Installation and Administration Guide on the OpenText Knowledge Center.
